Salem is roughly twenty-five minutes from our Gloucester base, depending on whether you're coming down 128 or 1A through Beverly. We've dug foundations off Highland Avenue, run drainage on the older lots up by Salem State, and handled site prep for additions in South Salem and the Witchcraft Heights neighborhood. Working in Salem means you're often dealing with rocky New England ledge a foot below the surface — we bring the right equipment so we don't have to come back.
Salem's mix of three-deckers, historic single-families, and the newer commercial work near the bypass road all need different approaches. We've put in trench drains on hillside lots in Witch Hill, demoed in-ground pools in McIntire neighborhoods that needed proper backfill and grade, and trucked loam and fill for new patios off Lafayette Street.
