Newburyport is twenty-five minutes north of our Gloucester yard up Route 1A or 95. We've handled drainage work in the South End, foundation excavation for the additions that keep going up in the historic district, and lot prep for new builds on the outskirts toward Newbury and West Newbury. Working that close to the Merrimack means high water table on a lot of lots — we plan French drains and sump tie-ins from the start instead of patching after the fact.
The mix of historic homes near the harbor and newer construction along Storey Avenue means we see everything from sensitive excavation around old foundations to wide-open lot work for new builds. We also do commercial site work for the businesses along Route 1 — utility trenching, drainage repairs, parking lot grading.
